Ecojot Agenda

Keep track of all your New Year's Resolutions this year with the help of an Ecojot Agenda. ($17)  The paper is 100% post-consumer recycled paper that is processed with chlorine free paper and board that is also acid-free.  The agenda is printed with inks that are all vegetable based so that they are bio-degradable, also any glue used in the agenda is also vegetable based for the same reason.  There are no trees used to make their agendas and the paper mill is powered with bio-gas from a local landfill.  Even the protective packaging these agendas come in are corn-based.  Also locally made raw materials are used whenever possible.  So pick up one today and start planning to keep all of this years resolutions.

I think that the gases produced within the landfill can be collected and flared off or used to produce heat or electricity. The City of Sioux Falls, South Dakota installed a landfill gas collection system which collects, cools, dries, and compresses the gas into an 11-mile pipeline.
