Audioengine P4N
The Audioengine P4N ($325) takes the award-winning sound of the P4 and wraps it in sustainable, eco-friendly bamboo. The darker tone of the bamboo is achieved not through toxic stains but instead the wood is heated under pressure causing the sugar in the bamboo to become "carbonized" and darken the wood to a caramel tone. Then the wood is sealed with hand-rubbed water-based satin polyurethane. The P4N speakers are lead free and include only environmentally-friendly binders, resins and formaldehyde-free adhesives. When the P4N is in standby mode it meets all of the ENERGY STAR requirements. A limited amount of plastics is used in the P4N speakers and they are packaged with easy to recycle materials. Now your music can be listened to stylishly, sustainably and with award-winning sound.
