The C901 GreenHeart is part of Sonys new lines which decreases the environmental impact of the phone, while still delivering the same level of quality and style. A big part of there strategy is eliminating the use of unwanted substances from the items production and design. They also have included a manual in the phone to save on larg paper manuals few people read. The body of the phone is made up with recycled plastics and the screen is energy efficient to save battery life. The color of the phone is created with waterborne paint. The combination of all these changes results in a 15% decrease in CO2 emissions during production.
