Char-Broil Urban Gas Grill
The Char-Broil Urban Gas Grill ($269) uses quantum infrared cooking system to offer infrared results with no flare up. This allows you to sear steaks quickly with the 20,000 BTU main burners that can also easily be used at low temperatures for cooking vegetables. The Urban Gas Grill offers a 340 sq. inch cooking surface in a smaller more economical size. There are also two separate grate level temperature gauges for each burner for more accurate grilling. MEC Source PFD
After a year and a half Mountain Equipment Co-Op (MEC) has made its own PFD ($54.09). Not only does this PFD offer comfort, value and different configuration options but it is also the first PFD to use cross-linked PE foam. PE foam was developed by MEC and it meets and exceeds both UL and ULC standards of testing. Traditonal PVC foams are bad for the environment and are not as light, buoyant or long lasting. The PE foam paired with the ergonomical design of the PFD offer an incredible range of motion and mesh panels paired with neoprene on the bottom make for a comfortable and breathable PFD that stays in its place. There are also optional add ons for the PFD like a rescue belt or hydration pocket. This PFD can do everything but paddle and if your not a paddler or sailor at least your wearing a green life vest in your not so green motor boat.
