The Char-Broil Urban Gas Grill ($269) uses quantum infrared cooking system to offer infrared results with no flare up. This allows you to sear steaks quickly with the 20,000 BTU main burners that can also easily be used at low temperatures for cooking vegetables. The Urban Gas Grill offers a 340 sq. inch cooking surface in a smaller more economical size. There are also two separate grate level temperature gauges for each burner for more accurate grilling. The infrared technology uses gas to superheat a piece of ceramic that then cooks the food with infrared radiation that heats quicker, distributes heat more evenly and easier to control so it saves gas.
